This security towel hook is most frequently used in correctional and psychiatric facilities where anti-suicide products are required.  The security hook has a pivoting ball joint that releases when excessive force is applied.  The anti-suicide hook has a concealed mounting with a flange that is fabricated from 11 gauge stainless steel.  The hook has a diameter of 3 inches and projects 2.5 inches, with two 1/4"-20 tee nuts welded to the back of the hook.  Access from behind the wall is necessary to install the hooks, and mounting hardware is not included.
